this policy explains what vbot stores and why.

what we store

• your name, email, and a bcrypt hash of your password.
• the phone number you link and its connection status.
• your delivery preference (reply in chat or forward to your own dm).
• the session credentials needed to keep your number connected between restarts, stored on our server.

what we do not do

• we do not sell your data.
• we do not send read receipts or set online or typing status from your account.
• we do not store message content by default. media is only downloaded when you run a command, and it is sent on and then discarded.

third parties

some commands send a link to an external download or image service. those services have their own policies.

your choices

you can disconnect your number at any time from the dashboard, which removes its stored session credentials. you can ask us to delete your account.

security

we use hashed passwords and httpOnly cookies, but no system is perfectly secure. you use the service at your own risk.
